 Civil Engineering

Among above, the Civil Engineering department is the leading department of the institute with dedicated faculty who possess the Ph. D degree from premier institute like IIT Delhi and IIT Roorkee. Our effort is to provide best facilities to our students so that they may compete with the modern Civil Engineering World, as the Smart City concept is round the corner.

 Electrical Engineering

Department of Electrical Engineering GEC Rewa was established in 1964. In the present Model science Collage building with professor M.B.Jain as founder Head of department in Electrical Engineering . Subsequently it was shifted to PGBT building . Thereafter finally in 1972 it was shifted to present campus as spreading above 250 acres (total collage area).

 Electronics Engineering

Electronics & Communication Engineering is one of the main and core trade working along all the branches, since 1984 in “Rewa Engineering College”.Department is situated in a separate building with Laboratories, Classrooms , Seminar Hall, Staff- Rooms, Stores etc. Initially Department was developed under the guidance and supervision of Dr. S. K. Paranjape (Retd. Director of Technical Education).

 Mechanical Engineering

Mechanical Engineering is one of the core branches of engineering. The Mechanical Engineering Department started with the inception of the “Rewa Engineering College” in 1964. Mechanical Engineering Department is situated in the main building at ground floor with Laboratories, Classrooms, Staff- Rooms, Stores etc. Our first HOD, Dr A C Rao, was instrumental in setting up and developing the ME department with core laboratories and facilities. Following regular faculty is working at present in the department

 Mathematics

The Department of Mathematics of Rewa Engineering College, Rewa started functioning along with the establishment of the college in the year 1964. In this college, the mathematics as basic to engineering studies was given importance from the very beginning. The syllabus of it was prepared according to the requirement of the engineering subjects.

 Physics

Physics is the father of engineering. A sound knowledge of basic science especially Physics is extremely important for laying the foundation of a future scientist and engineer .New researches and developments in Physics and Physical Sciences have led to major transformations in Engineering and Technology.

 Chemistry

Life is impossible without Chemistry. The Chemistry department is oldest department of this institution and this department is also established in 1964. The Chemistry has given rise to number of new materials that allow many types of engineering to advance. The Department's strong record of achievement is solidly based on chemical research, its success in incorporating these advances into teaching, lab work and research field and its close relationship to government and industry.
